Ensemble Cymru: The Music Room / Yr Ystafell Gerdd

We are looking forward to another series of mesmerising classical music concerts in a friendly, informal setting. The musicians are different each time, making for a very varied music offer. The concerts are held on Pay What You Can basis, with donations to the Ensemble Cymru at the door.

Ensemble Cymru begins its new season with an utterly gorgeous violin and harp recital, presenting music by a myriad of composers from Donizetti to Schumann and including Saint-Saens’s brilliant and luxuriant Fantaisie for violin and harp, written at the turn of the twentieth century when the composer was at the height of his fame.

Mae Ensemble Cymru’n dechrau ei dymor newydd gyda datganiad telyn a ffidil cwbl fendigedig, gan gyflwyno cerddoriaeth gan amrywiaeth o gyfansoddwyr fel Donizetti a Schumann ac yn cynnwys Fantaisie cyfoethog a gwych Saint-Saens ar gyfer ffidil a thelyn, wedi’i ysgrifennu ar droad yr ugeinfed ganrif pan oedd y cyfansoddwr ar frig ei enwogrwydd.
